Red Chamber: Uba Sani Optimistic Of Emerging Victorious

Kaduna Central Senatorial candidate
of All Progressive Congress (APC), Uba Sani, on Saturday expressed hope that he will emerge victorious at the end of the election.
He had earlier urged protective voters to be patient with INEC over late arrival of voting materials in some polling units.
Uba Sani, who casted his ballot at LEA Primary School, Kawo, Kaduna North LG at about 12:16 pm, was also impressed with the turnout for the civic responsibility.
He said, “election here has been peaceful even though some of the polling units started late. So far so good everything has been going on smoothly. There is no any problem here.”
On the issue of late arrival of voting materials he said, “the important thing was for the people to vote so far they are still on queue up till the time INEC has given. Voters are here as early as 7 am.
“The materials may arrive late but the spirit is high. Our people are determine to come and cast their vote and for me, that is important.
“So, I will ask the electorate to be patient, support INEC officials as they address the logistics problems. The turnout is quite impressive when compared to that of 2015 and that means more people are aware of their right to vote.”
