Protect Your Votes – PDP Tells Supporters In Sokoto
.As Buhari’s Minister Dingyadi Loses Party’s Supporters In Home Town

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has advised its supporters and electorate in Sokoto State to ensure that they voted party candidates top-to-bottom and protect their votes in the forthcoming elections beginning with the presidential election next week Saturday.
Alhaji Isah Madorawa (Dan Malikin Bagarawa) made this call in Sokoto while receiving hundreds of All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters from Raha village, Dingyadi/Badawa ward of Bodinga local government area of the state who decamped to PDP under the leadership of Malam Dansule Abubakar, who is chairman of Raha B polling booth.
Madorawa described PDP as the only organised and respected party that can redeem Nigerians from suffering, and poor governance created by APC -led administration in the country.
“They brought policies that bring suffering, agony to the majority of Nigerians, yet they want to ride on our suffering again, trying to continue with such draconian rule because of lack of sympathy and empathy the ordinary man is going through”, he said.
He strongly appealed to Sokoto people not to entrust their future to APC or any agent of destruction but rather vote for Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa along with all the candidates standing behind the umbrella for peace, development, and political stability.
Over 150 supporters from APC that decamped received a blessing from the Chairman of the PDP in Bodinga local govt, Alh. Abubakar Saidu Sifawa and Local govt council Chairman, Hon Shehu Mohd Danmalikin Danchadi who promised them fairness and support.
In his solidarity message, a media aide to PDP national chairman Dr. Iyorcha Ayu and a member of the Atiku/Okowa presidential Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi congratulated them for joining a winning team, urging the decampees toward the party’s victory.
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Malam Dansule Abubakar commended the exemplary embodiment of leadership of PDP leaders in Bodinga local government and the kindness shown to them despite being from different parties.
He said, they left the APC because of constant lies being peddled to bring confusion and misunderstanding amongst their communities.
“APC was just like a disaster waiting due to the arrogance of their leaders with much habits of misleading their children to be thugs creating trouble and injustice.
“We will mobilise our wives, children, and others to come out and fully support PDP candidates during the election”, he said.
Other leaders of decampees are Abubakar Ma’aji and Umar Shehu Sakatare.
Those who attended the occasion include Alh. Abubakar Magaji, Deputy Speaker, Hon Yusuf Dingyadi, Media aide to PDP National Chairman, Alh Umar Manuga, Turakin Dingyadi, Alh Haliru Sifawa, Alh Chika Bodinga, Alh Bafashi Dabaga along several others.
