Prayers for Buhari, good omen for Nigeria – Northern youths

Northern youths under the auspices of Northern Youth Union (NYU) has describe the recent massive prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari by many Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion as a good omen for the country.
The saying, which was contained in a statement issued by President of the Union, Comrade Abdulhadi Ibrahim Kankiya in Kaduna on Monday after its bi-monthly review meeting described the prayers organized by many people for safe return of the President as an indication of acceptance of his leadership style.
He was of the view that, this is the first time in the history of the country when everyone come together to pray for a sitting president which shows that the nation still has a bright future for development and peaceful co-existence.
The Union also commended the president’s approach and strategic planning to governance, towards the laying of a solid foundation for the country hinding it on additional reason why it decided to join in the prayers and peaceful rally to show solidarity to the present administration over all its activities.
According to him, “it is noteworthy to say that President Muhammadu Buhari commitment and high sense of patriotism has brought peace to our country particularly, the North East due to his unrelenting efforts to end insurgency” the statement added.
Comrade Kankiya said the NYU organized the prayers and the peace rally among the youths in the North West Zone to disabuse the minds of those ignorance of President policy direction aimed at improving on nation’s economy for a better tomorrow for all.
He said the NYU was created among other things to create a strong awareness to appreciate the leadership style of President Buhari administration to repair the economy and quest for durable peace among all Nigerians.
