Kaduna-based FRSC Officer Esther Abaje To Appear In Court Over Alleged Dangerous Driving

A Kaduna-based staff of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Esther Abaje, is to appear before Kaduna High Court 4, over alleged dangerous driving.
Esther was alleged to have drove carelessly and in the process, damaged a private Toyota car belonging to one Mr. Moses Allahmagani, who has the right of the road. Esther was said to have used her office to intimidated her victim by impounding his car.
Available information indicated that, the Police Command in the state is to present the FRSC officer in court to answer some questions about her action around WAFF road, Kaduna North Local government area of the state sometime ago.
Already, Counsel to the recipient of Esther’s action, Barrister Timothy Kyuga said, investigation has been concluded, while the First Police Report, (FPR), was ready and the case assigned to State High Court 4.
A source within the police revealed that, letter of invitation has been sent to the FRSC to present Esther before the Motor Traffic Division, (MTD), Gabasawa, Kaduna.
Esther supposed to have reported at the Division, however as at the time of filing in this report, the suspect, she was yet to to do so and the FRSC has not replied to the letter.
On December 25, 2018, Mr. Moses Allahmagani was driving along WAFF Road when Inspector Marshall Abaje, threw caution to the wind, drove out of Sokoto Road only bumped into another vehicle on the other side of the road.
The suspect immediately invited her colleagues who towed the victim’s vehicle and impounded it in their premises, demanding N150,000 for repairs.
