ICPC raides former VP Sambo’s Kaduna house 5th time
Two anti corruption agencies including ICPC operatives on Wednesday raided the Kaduna house of the former Nigerian Vice President Namadi Sambo.
Findings showed that the anti-theft agencies stormed the residence of the former VP located at Alimi road Kaduna at about 3pm.
Sources affirmed that the anti theft who arrived the residence in a bus, two hilux vans and a bullion van raided the house for two hours.
‘They came with heavily armed security personnel for two hours between 3pm and 5pm, source stressed.
As at the time Gobroadsheet arrived the Alimi residence of the former number two citizen, fierce looking security threatened to shoot at our correspondent and other journalists if they got closer to the house.
Eyewitness account revealed that, the team had repeatedly raided the house of the former VP on several occasions.
‘We are not sure whether this time they found something in the house. The presence of the bullion raised our suspicious .
Also when contacted, a source closed to the former VP said the anti theft agencies had been raiding the house for the fifth time and nothing was found.
‘I want to assure you that this time again nothing would be found because the former VP is not a corrupt person because he served this country on several capacity and has never been found wanting.
