Group congratulates Gov Bello over victory at Tribunal
//Akon Eddy, Kaduna//
OGUGU Youth Association (OYA), Kaduna state branch has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state over his triple victory at the election Tribunal.
Recalled last week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June, 2016, respectively, the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja Federal Capital Territory, FCT, dismissed petitions filed by Captain Wada Idris of (PDP), late Audu’s running mate, James Falake and Labour Party over the November 21, 2015, gubernatorial election, which Governor Bello was replaced and returned elected after the death of Prince Abubakar Audu.
OYA describes Governor Bello’s victory at the tribunal as the will of God, while reiterating its support for the administration to move the state forward.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Association in Kaduna and signed by Godday Onoja and John Daniel both Chairman and secretary; while calling on Kogians both at home and abroad to support the governor.
The statement reads: “What God has chosen no one should put asunder. People sometimes does not want to follow what God has designated, and that is why virtually every human being go the way it pleases him without considering the actions whether God is in support or not.
“Test him and see if he will not be far better than the previous administration. As, today the only main legacies you can see in Kogi state is that of late Prince Abubakar Audu of blessed memory.
“We want to assure you of our immense support in your administration and by God’s grace we would not let you down especially if you continue with your valuable work and integrity which you have already started by carrying everybody along, fair to everyone just like your nickname ‘fair plus’.
“Again we have been following all your activities at home and if you can continue to the end without being coerced into wrong doings by sycophants who do not mean well for the state just like your predecessor complained of, lately towards his exit, then the sky would be your limit,” the statement said.
