Eid-el-Maulud: Sen LA celebrates with Muslim Ummah, asks them To Imbibe Virtues Of Holy Prophet

As Muslims Ummah across the World celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Senator representing Kaduna Central, Lawal Adamu Usman (popularly called Mr. La) celebrated the season with his constituents, urging them to put into practice the good virtue the respected Prophet stood for.
The Lawmaker who chairs the Senate Committee on Education in a statement on Thursday described the period of celebration as a time to reflect and pray over the continued escalation of insecurity challenges, hardship, and disunity in some parts of the country.
According to him, “while we are celebrating this year’s birth of a great extraordinary human being, honest, trustful and noble Prophet; there is need for all of us to reflect on our life, challenges and poor condition affecting the generality of an ordinary Nigerian, in which lives are being destroyed, suffering is increasing despite the enormous resources the country is blessed with.
“I, therefore, urged all of us to put politics aside, stand together for the other people that are still suffering to help, pray for Almighty Allah’s intervention to alleviate their conditions and continue to offer prayers for peace, unity, and cohesion in the country
“Muslims should imbibe the great virtues and teaching of noble Prophet (peace be upon him) to mankind that includes forgiveness, trust, and support to others, especially from weaker ones so the Country can develop better”, he said.
The Senator assured his constituents of his plan for greater programs, assistance, and support that would assist the vulnerable in the state to live peacefully and happily.
He however pledged his commitment towards ensuring better support, especially in security, education, health, social welfare, and roads in the shortest possible time.
