Clerics celebrate Valentine with over 500 IDPs, destitute

As part of activities marking this year’s celebration of Saint Valentine’s day, a clergy, Pastor Yohanna Buru, on Sunday led Leaders of Christ Evangelical Intercessary Fellowship Ministry, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna South local government area of Kaduna State.
The team arrived home of Destitute to meet with street beggars and people of different forms of deformities to immensely distribute food stuff and drinks and also donate other humanitarian assistance to Muslim &Christians inmates at Mallam Niggers Rehabilitation Centre, Rigasa, Kaduna, and some Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at Badarawa and Unguwan Dosa, all within Kaduna metropolis.
Pastor Buru said “we choose these category of human being to celebrate with this year simply because we felt that those are the people of God that really needed our love, care and assistance at this season. Majority of them were been neglected and rejected by the societies, making live extremely difficult for them and their children to survived.
“As people round the world celebrate valentine with their loved ones ,sharing many good things of joy and happiness, we dim it fit to select less privileged and inmates with refuge from different areas in the state in other to make them understand that we love them and we pray for them for God to help them overcoming all the daily challenges they face when searching for food, clothe and Shelter”
“This is an effort to promote peaceful co-existence between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria and to call on every citizen across the country to immensely shun all forms of ethno-religious and political crises. ”Many people celebrate their love for their partner by sending cards or letters, giving gifts or flowers and arranging meals in restaurants or romantic nights in hotels but we choose to celebrate the valentine with the most neglected human-being by the societies.
Mama Aisha Gambaringala is a refuge woman with 9 children. She appealed to Federal Government, NEMA and SEMA, RED CROSS and other humanitarian organization, NGOs and Civil societies organization to introduce a programmed of skilled acquisition to all displaced women, especially, the widows among them.
She also pressed for free education for all the orphans so as to have good education like any other child in this planet.
