Why we honour France-based Nigerian Cleric Dr. Joseph Aliu – US Varsity Don

The Academic President of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University USA, Professor J.N. Williams said, the main attribute that qualified the recipient of its outstanding award, Dr Joseph Y. Aliu was his astute humanitarian services to the vulnerable persons.
The Varsity Don stated this during award presentation ceremony held at the Institute of National Security and Intelligence Studies, Abuja, the Nigeria seat of power.
Describing the recipient he said, “he is an astute humanitarian who engages in social service activities and the support for victims of modern day slavery from the hands of human traffickers from Africa, parts of Europe by educating them and liaising with the relevant offices to help them with food, shelter, medical assistance and protecting them from intimidation, harassment among others from their benefactors.
“He also helps prospective refugees and asylum seekers,” the president, represented by Dr. Abangma Echie said.
In his acceptance speech, the France-based Nigerian Cleric, Dr. Joseph described the award presented to him by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University USA, as a motivating factor that will spur him to do more for the society.
He said he was shocked when he received the notification for the award.
“This shows that as humans, whatever we are doing, people are watching us and as such, we should always do noble gestures that will speak on our behalf,” he added.
The citation of the Cleric read by representative of Academic President of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, USA, Dr. Abangma Echie revealed that, Dr. Joseph Y. Aliu was born on April 5,1971.
“He is an ordained Clergy (Apostle) and the founding president of an outreach ministry called Bethel Christian Chapel, France. His Passion is fully in the area of total service to humanity which cuts across race, religion, ethnicity, color etc. and not limited to any location of operation.
A professional negotiator, corporate and relational communication consultant, information and liaison services, business development, leadership and management professional working very closely with the Public (three tiers of government) and private sectors for over 20 years.
He obtained the Professional Diploma (PD) in Mass Communication from Bayero University Kano – BUK, Nigeria 1995, Bachelor of Arts in Communications Arts (Florida, USA) 2004, Master of Arts and PhD in Communication & Psychology from Smith Christian University (Florida, USA) 2008. Master of Business Administration (MBA)with emphasis in Communication & Personal Management from the Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, -UNEM, 2013.
A fellow with the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), UK, The Business Management Association (FBMA), UK and a Certified Master of Business Administration (CMBA) with The Business Management Association. A member of Christian Ministers and Ministries Network International – CMMNI, National Association of Christian Ministers – NACM, USA and the Academy of Parish Clergy – APC, USA.
Appointed an H.E Ambassador for United Refugee Green Council – URGC Consultant & Spokesperson on the Social, Educational & Socioeconomic Development of Refugee Children & Women (France – Global) Cyprus – EU, Advisory Board member, Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies – IPDS, Islamabad – Pakistan,” he said.
He added that he is also a Member of Security Expert and Intelligence Practitioners of Nigeria (SEPIN) and Fellow of Institute of National Security And Intelligence Studies (FNSIS) 2018.
Therefore, he is now admitted into Doctorate Fellow (DFA) of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University USA at Institute of National Security and Intelligence Studies.
Notable dignitaries that graced the event include but not limited to the Corps Commandant General of the Neighborhood Enlightenment and Safely Organisation (NESO), Comrade Sani Aliyu, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed, Dr. Jude Nnadi, Barrister Victor Iorshenge and Barrister Kajo Targema.
