Saraki in the eyes of the storm as House resumes today
Certainly this is not the best of time for Nigeria Senate Preident, Dr. Bukola Saraki as the House reconvene this Tuesday morning weeks after recession.
One of the things expected to play out is how to juxtapose the corruption allegation leveled against the Senate President by Bureau of Conduct Tribunal sitting in Abuja, and legislative business.
It was not clear whether the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has put its house in order ahead the resumption date.
However, A credible source told BROADSHEET via telephone that Dr. Saraki has about 70% lawmakers on his side and that necessary arrangement has been provided to avoid rowdy session.
The source is optimistic that the house will at the end of the day come out strong.
