NDA medical team visits NYSC Kaduna camp, donates drugs

NIGERIA –
The Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA)’s medical team today visited National Youth Service Corps Permanent orientation camp, Kilometers 16, Kaduna-Abuja high way and donated drugs for corps use.
The camp is currently orientating 2018 batch ‘B’ (Stream II) corps members deployed to Kaduna and Niger States for their one year mandatory service to motherland.
This NDA visit and donation is adding up to support and assistance in materials terms being received from corporate citizens and friends of the scheme in the state, the scheme said.
Speaking on behalf of the coordinator of the scheme in Kaduna State Hajiya Walida Siddique Isa, Assistant Public Relations Director, Sam Nkwopara said,

it was the turn of the NDA, Kaduna Medical Centre to donate some essential drugs to support health care services on camp and all of us here appreciated the kind gesture.”
According to him, the drugs were received by the State Coordinator who commended the leadership of the NDA Medical Centre for the show of love and assistance to the NYSC scheme.
The drugs were delivered by the representative of the Commanding Officer of the Medical Centre Lieutenant Colonel (Dr.) JI Akunne, Dr. Zibiri Sulaiman.
Other members of the team include Dr. Simon Akor and Pharmacist Amina Mohammed.
The orientation course is the first of four cardinal points of the NYSC. Others are place of primary assignment (PPA), community development service (CDS) and passing out parade (PoP) all within 11 months of service year.
