Erstwhile member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru has rejoiced with the Muslim communities over Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
The celebration signifies the end of a 30 days (or 29) fasting period when Muslim faithful humble themselves and seek the face of Almighty Allah for his blessing and mercy.
He made the call through his Media office (Ashiru Organization Media Office) in Kaduna.
The two term federal lawmaker also appealed to Muslims faithful to reflect on the good virtues of the month of Ramadan, urging them to keep alive the teachings and lessons learnt.
“As Muslims, we must keep to the teachings of the Ramadan month all through our lives.”
He further reminded the Muslims the need to demonstrate in their daily lives the lessons and virtues of sacrifice, forgiveness, pity, self denial and genuine love towards one another.
