Managing Director, El-Jahab Mubarak Nig. Limited, Alh. Jafaru Sani Abdulkadir, has refuted accusation that his accoutrements indigenous company is indicted by the the anti-graft agency in its war on corruption.
The MD, who stated this while chatting with newsmen in Kaduna, Wednesday, added that the company, El-Jahab Mubarak has been cleared and now completely free though it was mentioned by Colonel Sambo Dasuki in his corruption case, over a uniform contract for “special force”.
The MD said he was unhappy that when the company was cleared that there was no publication made to that effect unlike when its name was mentioned among the companies that were indicted.
“After the publication of our name indicting us as one if the 265 companies mentioned because we had contract to sew uniforms for 1500 military special force personnel trained for the federal government by Americans for the election in 2014, we were invited, investigated and ultimately cleared and set free”, the chairman affirmed.
He said that El-Jahab Mubarak is the first and best indigenous accoutrements company with 220 work force and also embroideries for the military as well as the public producing souvenirs, cardigan, gifts, embroiders and printing.
He commended the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for its policy on inward sourcing and self sufficiency, ban on foreign-sourced accoutrement has help to shore up for the company, orders from the military and paramilitary forces in the country.
The MD emphasized that El-Jahab Mubarak Nig. Ltd has employed more Nigerians due to the policy, patronize local raw materials market, send employees abroad for training and improve on over all quality, production technology, experience and corporate turnover.
He said that the company has established garment industry to produced uniforms for the armed forces and beyond plus cooperate bodies and schools uniforms.
He called on the federal government to enhance its electricity production prowess for the nation’s production and manufacturing section to be better harnessed, because power is the first and foremost prerequisite for industrialization for self reliance as well as economic revival.
He emphasized that Nigeria has many talented people who are into production and are ready to fortify and solidify it as the backbone of our economy, cum cheap labour and available market.
“With our population, we only need a little encouragement from the government, while the people have to exercise patience; because the present administration is serious. So, we just need a little push and those of us in the manufacturing industry would soon have it as a thing of the past”, he assured.
